2173: A New Legacy, Start!!!

Ok, so here's the start for the RP. I was too impatient to wait 'till tomorrow. Now, let's see...um...hmm...aha...Red Hawk will be playing his part, and I will be playing two parts, soooo whatchout, time for Spaceballs, er...I mean the RP. Now, for starters, you, Hawky, must go to the armory, and say...all the stuff you do there, from when you're on your way, to when you get there. As for me, my parts remain a secret, since I'm the boss, the big cheese, the head honcho, the...uh, nevermind. First off, let me be clear that this sillyness should not be tolerated in any future RPs, I'm just bored. Anyway, off to the armory with you. You'll get new orders from then on. Have fun with your first RP, ever, I think. After you post, Red, I'll advance the story.

An alarm begins to blair. I stand up from my bench in the cafeteria and run to the armory. Several soldiers run with me, and some the opposite direction. Thoughts of what might be happening race through my mind. I know that this was not a drill, because no one would dare sound an alarm while I was eating lunch. The other soldiers and I reach the armory. There, I grab my rifle and make sure my pistol is loaded. I cock the rifle and order the others, who are obviously lower ranks than I am, to come with me. We run through several hallways. Wounded, blood-soaked soldiers are being carried by medics past us. I can only help but wonder what the *bleep* is going on.

Sorry for the double post, but what happened to this?

Hey, I decided to get this moving tomorrow. This time I promise. First, let me think up a plot, and we'll be off.

Kaykayz.

Captain Logan overlooked his officers on the bridge.
"What's going on down there?" He asked. One of them answered:L
"We've been borded, unknown alien life-form. It's slautering everyone!" Logan looked around and headed to his chair to activate the comm system.
"Raymus, get yourself and a squad of your finest men up here on the double." As he waited for an answer, he opened a panel in the wall, and pulled out a pistol, and stuck it in his holster, and a plasma dart rifle, and carried it to the conference room.

Vorgan was in his quarters when the alarm sounded. Like an instinct, he headed to the armory, which, luckily, was only around the corner. When he entered, he headed directly for a plasma shotgun, and afterwards, a plasma rifle. He placed the shotgun in a holster on the right side of his belt, and the rifle on the left. The weapons were miniscule compared to the alien's large stature. He took the nearest elevator to the command centre, and waited for the elevator to stop. In the mean time, he tried to think of where he saw that alien ship before.

Raymus, after recieving orders from Captain Logan, quickly ran through the ship's hallways to the barracks. On his way, he loaded a fresh clip into his hadgun and pulled back the slide. He then placed it into his drop-down holster and loaded a clip into his assault rifle. As he arrived at the barracks, he slung his assault rifle over his shoulder and ordered three of his favorite soldiers to come with him. Two Humans, both privates (but good soldiers, nonetheless) armed with shotguns and a Kiridian sergeant with a plasma minigun geared up and followed Lieutenant Raymus. He began to lead them to the bridge, where Captain Logan would be waiting for them. Raymus had been in tough battles before, but his gut told him that this was going to be worse.

"Ah, lieutenant Raymus. The captain's in the conference room. He's waiting for you." Said an officer to Raymus, when he entered the cccommand centre. As he and his men headed into the conference room, Vorgan arrived on the bridge.
"Commander Vorgan, the captain's in the conference room." Vorgan looked at him, and then he said:
"I expected as much. I'm going to go to check up on our men in the lower decks, and try to get to the alien vessel. Please tell the captain." The officer nodded, and headed to the conference room, as Vorgan got back into the elevator, and punched in the button that leads to the lower decks.

Raymus entered the conference room to find Captain Logan waiting for him. His three soldiers followed him into the room. They saluted the Captain, and waited for their orders.

Logan asked them to sit down, which they did. He looked at every one of them and finally said:
"Men, you all know about what's gig on here. I want the four to accompany me to th dockig bay and rid these creatue of our ship. Yu must..." His sentence trailed off as anoficr came in to inform him that Vorgan would be waiting for them i the lowr decks.
"Thank you, lieutenant." He said as the officer walked out the door.
"As I was saying, we shall go through the back hallways and maintenance tubes to get ther unnoticed. I see you're all armed, so let's get to it." With that, the five left the conference room and the command centre, and headed into the elevator to the lower decks.

Raymus and his squad followed Logan out of the conference room and to the elevator. On the way, he double-checked his gear to make sure he was ready to for combat. When they arrived at the elevator, Raymus pushed the 'down' button and when the doors opened, he motioned for the Captain to enter first. Raymus followed the captain, and his squad after him. Once inside, he waited for Captain Logan to decide what floor they were going to.

Logan pushed on the '17' button, which instructed the elevator to head to floor 17. It started on it's way, but abbruptly stopped on floor 8. They got out, Raymus first, then three of his men, then Logan, and before the other could get out, the elevator dropped a few inches. The soldier jumped out, just as it fell, full force, the the bottom of the shaft. The soldier was lucky enough to get out quickly.
"They must have cut into the lift's sliders." A voice said coming from behind the group.
"Hi, I'm Jonathan Baird. I'm a...stowaway merc. Sorry for the intrusion, but seeing that you could use my help, I decided to come out of hidding."
"Yes, very interesting. This is Lieutenant Raymus, and his squad, we're..."
"Let me guess, gonna get to the bottom of this. This ain't no cake walk, these things can kill ya before you even get close to the cryostasis ship. You'll need my help, I know a way around them, one that not even you know about." The merc's face sported a light Honnest Abe beard. His short, brown hair was messy and full of sweat, and his armour was custom. He appeared to have been in one of the armouries, because he carried two plasma pistols, and a plasma shotgun, standard issue, and one other weapon, It appeared to be custom as well. The group of six, lead by the merc, headed to the 'secret' passage.

When the elevator stopped, Vorgan stepped out, only to find the floor littered with blood and severed bodies. Soldiers, crewmembers, and the occasionnal alien. He could feel turning in his three stomachs. He held it in, and proceded toward the docks. He held his shotgun, and stayed sharp. He heard growling, but kept his attention to the front, he smelled the foul smell of chared and rotting flesh. He saw the corpse of an alien, bloodied and burned. He could here muttering, and when he turned the corner, he saw a soldier, and headed over to him.
"Soldier, name and rank."
"They're everywhere, killed everybody..."
"Soldier," he yelled, "name and rank!" The soldier stood up, and told him.
"Gallagher, Major Bruce Gallagher, sir."
"Good, now follow me." They headed toward the docks and, while they walked, heard an explosion. They both turned in the direction of the explosion, and headed toward it. It was the elevator. The other elevator fell twelve floors and hit this one. They turned back, and headed in the right direction.

"Stowaway?" Raymus asked himself. "He'd better be helpful." He fingered the trigger on his assault rifle. He wasn't usually this skittish, but he still had that sinking feeling in his gut. As he followed Captain Logan and this 'stowaway mercenary', Raymus tried to stay relaxed and take this on like any other battle. "Where are you from, Baird? And how did you get aboard?" Raymus asked, slightly suspicious of their new 'friend'.

"Where did I come from, you ask. How did I get abord, you ask. Well, Raymus, if that is your real name, I'm human, so I came from earth, as for getting abord, I stowed away in one of the crates. Can you all believe that you're 100 apples short of stock?" He said with a laugh, as if he was tryng to lighten the mood, or wasn't afraid of these creatues.
"Yes, yes, that's very interesting, but it doesn't change the fact that you came abord, unauthorised. After this, we will have a little talk, you and I." The captain said. As they proceded down the narow hallway, a creature jumped down from the back. It leapt at them, but before anyone else could react, Baird pulled out that custom weapon, and fired at the beast. It fired flames that burned it to a crisp.
"A flamethrower? How did you build that?"
"Questions later,we have to move, now!" They all ran down the hall, pursued by a few creatures.

The creature had startled Raymus, but didn't scare him. After Baird fried it, Raymus rolled his eyes at this (in his opinion) cocky and arrogant person. "He's gonna be in a lot of trouble when Logan's done with him," he thought. Raymus began to run down the hallway with the others. "How do you know a 'secret' way around these creatures, Baird? I know this ship inside and out, and there's not any 'secret' way to where we're headed as far as I know," he said, still not fully trusting Baird.

"It's secret if you know what's good for ya, Ray." He siad in a jokinly maner. They kept running away from te few pursuers, while firing at them in the process.
"Where did they come from?" One of the soldiers asked.
"The horizontal maintenance tubes above this floor. There are vertical ones down this hallway, we could go by there. Whadaya say, Ray."
"I say, it's our best bet, let's go." They headed into the tubes, but Baird stayed behind to burn a few more of them before following.

The sound of plasma pellets hitting the body of a creature had been heard for a while. Vorgan was backpedaling toward he door.
"53, 54. How many have you got Major?" He asked the man while reloading.
"I don't have many, sir. Around 27." He said in an official sounding voice. He regained his courage. The door wasn't far, but what waited there was something worse than these creatures.

"Ray?" Raymus asked, making sure that everyone got into the maintenence tubes. "That's Lieutenant Raymus to you," he said before turning around and crawling into the maintenence tube before Baird. Now, Raymus officially didn't like this mercenary. He had worked with people like this before, but no one as annoying as him. Raymus decided to try and focus on the battle ahead.
